1950/60's Fluorescent Gooseneck Desk Lamp
15w Fluorescent gooseneck desk lamp, unknown era but most likely 1950/60's

This has a manual starter button and a capacitive ballast arrangement in the base. Came with a recent Philips tube sadly, 33/640 cool white from August 2008 (H8).

It has an American look about it somehow! It does look in good condition!

It does indeed, sadly no labels left on it so no idea of manufacturer or where it originated. It's in better condition than the eBay pictures depicted, but it has its fair share of scuffs and scratches and some minor rust dots. All add to the character though, don't think I'll be repainting it, just a rewire

I think the wear would be called patina these days LOL!

Yes that's a good buzzword lol! If I was reselling this it'd have "an excellent patina"
