Cheers, now those are a blast from the past - used to have loads when I was younger. Think there's still a CD / tape player in the loft, but I certainly don't have any tapes any more!

Haven't touched a tape for about 8 years. Surprisingly, they actually can sound quite good when quality tapes are used the device used to record them and the source is high quality. Though these days, it makes more sense to use mp3s, streaming services, etc. Same with records.

its the foot of the problem . i am suprised how good the old recordings i have sound, from 1991-95 radio 1 top 40s. and a radio 1 roadshow from torquay in 1991! i need to transfer them
