very Nice
what gear is it running on? (I had 2 60W GEC SLI/H lamps but I sent them to a freind in a trade)

Gorgeous!

|
Its running on a 58w choke and starter

I would recommend a 50W SON choke or a 80W mercury choke (I used a 80w mercury choke) a 58W Choke can work but it depends on the choke and they can get quite crispy

you need a black BLI leak transformer for this lamp

I was always told 50W SON I remember that Jeremy once telling me he used to look after a load of subway fittings made by a company called REAL back in the 80s never heard of them since or anywhere else but he said they came as standard with a 50W SON choke so he said he considers this a proper ballast for these lamps!

50w son is ideal runs the lamp at 0.80A and correct voltage. I did measurements a few years ago trying to find a suitable ballast. the 58w choke is unsuitable as it may run hot

Awesome lamp & image! I'd love to find one of these SLI/H lamps. If its .800ma would that be saying I could just use a HO rapid-start ballast? (assuming the extremely rare chance one of these ever showed up here)
