I believe they used the arc tubes in the later ones that were made for osram originally. So they are osram truthfully

a hybrid? philips sox-e coating with as you said osram style arc tube? 18w sox always had dimples from inception i don't know why they stopped them so late on. the cap colour changes, the packets in monochrome, the etch with ink on the cap the dimple change in 2011 all cost cutting measures?
