Hybrid hot and cold cathode neon electrodes

Got 4 of these very old neon electrodes, going to be very interesting to try them out i think. They are meant to be used so the hollow metal shell takes the brunt of the ions with the filament making it behave like a fluorescent lamp. Its supposed to make it last a long time, and also if the thing goes eol, it can be run as a normal cold cathode tube and possibly do another 80k hours.
