This photo was taken at the lamp recycling pile. I didn't take this lamp, as the pins were damaged, it looked EOL and I can't really be bothered with 8ft tubes anymore unless they are something very rare.

I think these Philips branded GB GE made tubes were quite common in that era, as were Osram branded ones.

Would GE have been the only plant left in the UK manufacturing tubes in 2002??

You could almost argue that by being 8' it's already rare these days....
