Osram 100v 32.5w B22-3 LT Signal lamps

These lamps are very odd, I bought a full case of them recently as old retailer stock. They appear to have been made for rail/bus purposes but that's just a guess of mine. Would LT stand for London Transport? The lamps have very interesting filaments!
