Thorn 300w lamp with E27 base I finally found one of these as I had been after one for quite a while. What's interesting is that Thorn seemed to use skirted PAR38 E27 lamp bases for these. This is really a bit too bright for my table lamp!

Nice to see a 300 watt GLS with ES fitting, I managed to get some a few years ago after much searching
