Thank You, Andy. I used two 250W and one 150W MH ballasts in parallel. For ignition I used a low voltage ignitor from Philips, type SX 76.

I see, that is interesting to know that an SX 76 is sufficient to light the lamps. I didn't realise there was a DRL 1000 with twin electrodes, I only knew of the 500W version.

Hello Roman. These are rarities. The lamps are still designated without the additional letter "M". The assumption is that it is the first production. What is the meaning of the later used letter "M" in the designation ?

Thank You, Olav. I guess, M means "modified", to determine the difference between a more ordinary four-electrode lamps and the obsolete two electrode lamps.
