Double life too rare as fuck
In practice these days, probably tenth life. Some of them have deteriorated seriously. It makes me reticent to use any more.

Has some gone contaminated like
ive never had a problem with short life spans on old tubes, the only 15 watt fats i use are under my bar counter, running off a one part transtar unit, (posted photos on here) they seem to be doing fine with no blackening at all , they were new old stock when fitted

If contamination makes them struggle to an early death, all my red 15W T8 EKCOs went that way.
