Molynx (Sylvania) 50w infra-red halogen lamps for CCTV cameras

I found these very interesting lamps recently on Ebay, they came in plain white boxes hence their lack of inclusion in the photo. I had heard of the existence of these lamps thanks to a post made by James, but had not yet seen any pictures of them! What kinds of CCTV cameras contained these? They must have been quite large units to have sufficient space and ventilation for a 50w halogen lamp. The lamps themselves seem to be standard MR16 halogen lamps with quite a thick natural glass lens.
