This lantern was situated on the side of a former shop in Worcester. The building at the time was in very early stages of being renovated into college premises, and as part of the works this old lantern was going, therefore i made contact with the site manager, and secured it from its scrapyard fate. there was another one further along, however it has sadly been vandalised beyond even being able to be salvaged. On the 28'th October, it was removed and added to the collection, therefore making my first ever successful rescue attempt.
