Phillips Softone 16w & 20w CFLs

Philips Softone 16w & 20w CFLs, unused. 815 & 1160 lumens respectively. Both rated at 6,000 hours which I suspect is quite a conservative rating. Date codes J4 & K5 = September 2004 and October 2005. Made in Poland.

Only 6000 hours interesting

These have always seemed to last well for me - biggest complaint - and the main reason most were swapped out eventually - is that they don't half start out dim! The smaller ones anyway, think they're mostly 11W ones I've had.

I reckon these'll last a lot longer than 6000 hours unless switched frequently or otherwise abused. These do start a bit dim -I'd guess about 50-60% brightness, so not that sort of dim that provides virtually no usable light like some CFLs do

Ive got some of these and I'd say they do in excess of the rated hours, particularly if used cap down.
