this is the most amazing exit sign i have seen in my life, and fortunatly i now own it along with 3 more. Its a gold painted steel box with real green 50's hammerd glass in the front, has an acid etched plain glass window below for under lighting, lit by a pair of 15 watt pygmy lamps, one a 240 volt BC mains, and the other a 115 volt ES capped which worked off the central battery system as a maintained light

Just think, when was the last time you actually saw an exit sign with the word 'EXIT' on it?

What a beautiful old sign! I still remember a few of this type of sign from when I was small. How stupid that the word 'Exit' was banned in favour of a stupid running stick man with an arrow.

Because of all the different languages spoken in our country, one of our foreign friends may get confused!
