Trident 10w Pl-C downlights
Made by Trident lighting, I had never seen such unusual fittings before. In my opinion they arent even downlights.
sold as packs of 3, I bought these about 4 years ago, in that time they spent most of it in my shed dismantled as I had used the SS ballast and lamp holders in a home brew fitting of mine. I realise now what a stupid thing that was, and have since put these fittings back together. annoyingly one of the glass covers has been broken, but in situ, you cant tell unless you look, so in a sense, I'm not too bothered. Six 10w PL-C lamps look awesome starting up though, I really wish I had bought more tbh. Annoyingly over time the PL lamps got damaged or misplaced, so need a few lamps to complete them.

Where did you get these Dave and how much were they? Really like this design bet these kick out some light way more than most crap on the market!!! Looks like the fixing springs are all missing!

Oh now I know exactly what I would do with these!!!... Straight in the parents kitchen in place of the 50w halogens!!!

I bought these 4 years ago from the original factory shop for £5 for 3. Super cheap and came with Philips 10w PL's. Sadly they no longer make them, however I have plans for use in our kitchen (or my bedroom?)

Yeah the spring clips are missing, I know I have some somewhere but dont think I have enough

Would be a sight & sound to behold when they all blink into life at once Smile

As mad as it sounds, the wellglasses actually amplify the blinking sound, it sounds and looks amazing upon startup Cool

Turns out these dont like the cold. had to put them in a shed over christmas season and 2 of the bottoms of these have shattered Mad

That's a real shame! I suppose the odds of finding spares is negligible.
