Smorgasbord of Sylvania Osram GEC Thorn Philips F8T5 8W T5 1ft fluorescent tubes

picked these up as a job lot off eBay a little while back because I realised I did not have many 8W T5's in my collection at all, and I thought would be a good idea to get few, and this large bundle of all vintage sorts fitted the bill very nicely, giving me a nice little variety of tubes all in one go :)

one thing that tickled me in regards to the Osram GmbH made GEC tubes from Italy is the fact the sleeves although plain are still marked in German Osram "L8W/30" nomenclature, somewhat giving the game away as to who actually made these tubes! also of course we can tell from the place of origin and general style of the tube, that they are not actually GEC made, but it amuses me how despite the tubes being etch'ed up all British style the sleeves are not, again, giving the game away somewhat it feels like :)
