Would you say it's comparable to the light source it's designed to replace in terms of output, or dimmer?

It's been a while since I fired up a 125w MBF but if it really is 6000lm then it should be perfector for them, as long as the fitting can take the slightly larger lamp.

This looks better than the warm white version of a slightly lower wattage I saw at the meetup last year Cool
