Test em if they dont fire up on their own stick a 35/55w sox ignitor across the lamp holder. Theyll light then

Wonder how would they light up on a HV source like plasma ball or PZT ignitor. Non blackened Mercs have Red arcs throughout the phosphor coating, and if youhold them in hand then it concentrates around your hand
