Kingfisher Sloane 70w
I always did like globes and I just had to have one.
This will replace my Gamma 6 on my back patio which currently has an 11w PL-S on it.

I have since modified this with a new 50/70w dual tap ballast and have raised the lampholder so the lamp sits more centrally in the louvres.

It came with a Venture quartz halide lamp and when I first powered it up, I noticed the colour was terrible, even for venture but upon closer inspection, the supplied lamp was 100w. Ops!

Nice, looks like a decently made fitting Smile

The lampholder seemed to be too low down IMO, the arc tube was centred near the translucent plastic ring at the base of the louvre stack. When I re-geared it, I raised the lampholder up at least an inch so the lamp fits nicely in the stack.
