Wonder why the top one has the caps around the foil bits? Lower volts higher amps maybe they did this because of failures like I'm getting in the radium HRI-TS lamps. This is a nice oldie!

i think it's to try and raise the temperature in order to lesson the attack by bromide. Not sure why only the 120v lamp has it though!
