This was rescued by a mate, who said it was one of two in use in a shed until it was pulled down. Both had been placed at the curb, and he got one with me in mind. He could only carry the one, so when he went back later in the day, the second had sadly gone.
The internals was in a right state, but thankfully the ballast escaped rusting. Its another example that had fell to the can o' gloss paint, so it warranted a full strip back and respray. The lamp holder had already been restored by the time I had taken these pics. The metal can starter seen here was an addition by me - the one that came was an S10.
