B&Q special 2X18w fitting
Another buy whilst coming from college back in 2011, I bought it simply due to being on offer simply because the plastic wrapper was missing. Its an interesting fitting, but quality is rather poor, for instance on startup both tubes fight against each other to strike, therefore it takes longer to actually start up. Servicing is again simple, by pulling back one of the end caps, pulling the diffuser out, the 2 tubes and starters are now accessible.
It was installed in the shed where I store my lanterns, but in more recent times had to be removed due to severe damp issues affecting fittings in there. The rust has only just started to creep through on this, so will need attention to prevent any more rusting.

I do like twin 2' fittings Dave they fascinated me when I was a kid. I remember buying a twin fitzy that I still have with my pocket money from the old co-op lighting department
