Very nice
I know of a shop that still uses them but they have about an inch of emulsion on them

there is a shop in town that has twin superslims. Atlas badged on the side. Now running T8's (GB GE last time i was in there) Testament to how well these things were made

Theres a very run down shop here in the twin 5' configuration. Plates mounted to the spine suggest they once had diffusers.

What is it with peoples enfacuation with painting fittings - I never know!

still see these around quite alot!

I dont know what it is with these fittings in particular, but they always seemed to get painted. I've had about 8-9 examples in the collection, and all of them seem to have paint of some form or another slapped over them.

Probably the fact they always seem to go rusty very easily. Could have done with a thicker coat in the factory....
