NOS WRTL Iris
Obtained a good while back, this Iris is a very welcome addition to the collection, having been after one for a while now. It takes 36w PL-L, and I used this to my advantage. Anyone who knows me knows I hate HF ballasts, so the one that was in the lantern was duly stripped out and a good old magnetic ballast and glowbottle starter fitted and wired in place. Working, its a very representable example of a lighting technology that sadly never really took off.

It has a slight look of the Beta 8.
