Gear box mounted on top of the spine

gearbox mounted ontop of the spine, this is secured by 4 set screws and when removed is like a huge ballast, its an open coil set in black pitch tar, with a starter socket incorporated. If you remove the 4 pin starter the lamp goes out ! Note the blue circular ULITAIR badge
