Restored 5ft 1978 Thorn pop pack Seen here is the fully restored pop pack which has also been converted to SRS as I have two of these. The other one will be restored in its original switch start condition. The starter holder is now a fuse as Richard suggested. Seen here fully assembled with its brand new prismatic diffuser and the Atlas super 5 tube it came with. Reminds me of my secondary school, that was list by single pop packs with prismatic diffusers, many of which were 6ft SRS.

http://www.discount-electrical.co.uk/ I've bought a few diffusers from them over the years, they are one of the few places that deliver for a reasonable price. They had a shed full of these prismatic diffusers at my secondary school. Most of the classrooms still used chalk boards then and the light output would gradually depreciate as the diffusers collected chalk dust. So rather than clean them, the caretaker would remove them and store them. The end caps were left attached to the fittings.
