American HPS streetlights

Here my street light haul from two places. One the cooper OVX 250 watt HPS
That is leaning on electric clothes dryer; That came from scrap metal yard.
Cost me 32 pounds of metal trade off.

The other 3 was bit interesting while i was picking up scrap metal for my back haul metal pick up call. A contractor lineman that works for PEC ( Pedernales Electric Coopertive) at right place and time. I got other 3 while they install LEDs and removing
old lights. I could of got one more street lights but bushes are in the way and bucket truck wont reach. So they abandon it on pole and cut power leads coming to that street
Light from the other pole. These are American Electric roadway 115 100 watt HPS and other two are cooper OVZ street lights that is also 100 watt HPS. From that lineman.

Danny I can get those brackets dirt cheap at the scrap yard too. I have a pile of them at home. It weighes about a kg here.

BTW that electric clothes dryer is a dual voltage dryer
240 volt for heating element and controls and motor is
120 volts. That one thing that American dryers wont work
too good across the pond, unless u throw in 1500 VA step
Down transformer in there to make 120 volt stuff to work in

Those brackets only cost me $2.00 at recycling yard as i paid there aluminum salvage price. This metal scrap yard does Utilty scrap. I Get Texas Department of transportation, and 3 utility company electrical scrap. Some of these street lights will be up for grab. But i am moving getting my own place. now that Cooper 250 watt OVX got broken glass and dirt pooled behind the lamp making it look funny. That street light will need compleat restoration as door cracked from being thrown around in the metal yard. But some fiberglass and bondo should do the trick stuff use on auto repairs to fix cracks on body works.
