And this lamp is a fake. The etch is a direct copy from one of my genuine ones.

How did you copy it on to the lamp?

You can tell, as the lettering doesn`t bend around the tube with it.

Kev, I took a picture of the etch ff the real one from far away with the lens zoomed right in to reduce the curve effect, removed the background on the computer till i got a pure black and white text, then printed it onto the waxy paper found on the back of labels with a laser printer and used a soldering iron to heat the toner and transfer it to the tube. Finally gave it a quick going over with a blowtorch to 'burn' the toner into the glass and stop it coming off.
