One of my favourite installs is the old Crompton Churchouse bollard. Had to look at this pair yesterday and found the nearest one had a knackered 70w SONI Venture lamp. Looks a bit better with a 50w Merc in now!

do you know the history of churchhouse? all i have is some 1960's glass internal bulkheads from an old cinema, they have 15w pygmy lamps in them ex caps

churchouse defo went back to the mid 60's if not earlier, as those internal glass opel bulkheads i have date from 1966, they have churchhouse stickers inside each fitting

Did Crompton buy Churchouse do you know Phil. Some of Crompton early fittings like the Robust are definitely Churchouse designs...

FSB i can probably get you one of these at some stage... Devon are replacing the majority of theirs in the near future

A bollard that holds so many memories for me as a kid, they were absolutely everywhere, but they all seem to have vanished now. Something I'd love to find for the collection.
