Thorn Leopard 1250 LED Gear Tray

Found in the WEEEEEEEEE skip at work, both tested and working fine. Thorn Leopard LED gear trays, these will retrofit in many THORN Leopard 2D fixtures, possibly others too.

Microwave detector, 17 watts, 1250lm, colour 840, 50000 hours life supposedly

Hmmmmmm. Bet these won't last as long as a good old switch-start 2-D tho!

There's no way these would these outlast a switch start ballasted fixture. The bigger question IMO is if these would outlast a decent 2D lamp?

Good question... The only decent 2D lamps available now are BNOS items from eBay.

That's my general thinking - old GE or Thorn stock is always going to outlast anything new!

These are rubbish if itâ€™s in a wall mounted bulkhead. Direct all of its light sideways.
