There's no way these would these outlast a switch start ballasted fixture. The bigger question IMO is if these would outlast a decent 2D lamp?

That's my general thinking - old GE or Thorn stock is always going to outlast anything new!

These are rubbish if it’s in a wall mounted bulkhead. Direct all of its light sideways.
