GE 1000w CID PAR64.
|
1 x 1000w CID PAR64 lamp. They slightly less efficient daylight brother of the CSI PAR64.
Made in UK dated August 2007 so probably one of the last made there?
One thing that I have just noticed, can you see the ring about two thirds of the way down on the reflector? The half of the reflector closest to the arc tube is a dichroic coating (you can see the light shining through on the base and table) while the the outer section is pure solid aluminized reflector.
I'm not sure if this is specific to the CID version or is on all of the newer lamps made by GE as the only other CSI PAR64 lamp to compare it with is an early Thorn unit with the niobium heat sheields on the lead wires instead of the newer ceramic ones seem here.
Maybe something James could shead some light on, if you excuse the pun :)
