Troughton and Young fitting, with tube

As I begin to sort through the Troughton and Young fittings I managed to save 29/10/18, I decided to reunite a Mazda tube to one of the fittings for the first time since its removal. I find it incredible how these 6 fittings have managed to stay so untouched and original for around 55 years, its just a shame one fitting is missing the lamp holder and mounting plate.

Under the grime and filth, the paintwork is immaculate, any minor damage will be filled with white enamel paint, simply by dabbing it in, just to try and preserve the stunning originality of the fitting.
