Neon art: "Numbers in the woods"
The work consists of twelve stainless steel tubes, seven metres in height, bearing twenty-one neon numerals that gleam over Salzburg by night.
The title "Numbers in the Wood" refers to a numerical series developed by the mathematician Fibonacci, who discovered it to represent the rate of propagation of physical forces.

Built by the Italian artist Mario Merz in 2003 and is located on Mönchsberg mountain near the Museum of Modern art in Salzburg Austria.
Quite hard to make out but does look cool at night.

Photo taken in 2017.
