Mazda Natural tubes, etch closeup

As soon as I had put the Troughton and young fittings away, it was time to rest the Mazda tubes that came with them. all 6 tubes were subsequently put in one of my fittings for a test to see how they would respond to having power. After a lot of blinking, they all stabilised and run well, even the one with the blown cathode worked perfectly well after having the cathode linked out, going to show just what workhorses these old things really are.
