SON “pillar” footpath light, close up. Spotted these from the air when I flew into Palma de Mallorca Airport. It was dark when I landed so they were all lit lol. There are hundreds of them along a section of coastline. They seem to be made of thick gauge steel and the bottom of the louvres are recessed into the fitting. Tip: don’t put your hand of them as they bake in the sun all day and must be well over 60’c!

They are very unusual looking.

One had lost its front panel and you could see the lamp and reflector. I git a pic and will post if anybody cares lol.
