The Glass is of light blue to give this lamp daylight aperance. It is believed that this lamp dates back to the 30s. wile there are dayligh headlight lamps in Philips 1934 UK catalogue, I could not find any lamp with this particular base

Remember Gavin on LG user name was called sparkygav. He found some amazing stuff. I never seen some of it before. I hope he’s alright not heard off him in a long time
