More proper floods! I'm not quite sure what floods these are but they have impressive looking optics and bomb-proof construction! They light up part of the car park behind the Prescot Shopping Centre and are probably original from when the place opened in 1989.

I mean i do realise that the government is a shit show but aren't city designers still bound to established standards of providing X units of amenities/public/commercial spaces per Y units of living spaces in each construction project, regardless of who is going to occupy it ? It looks like they are only building flats and nowhere for the people who live there to go if they dare pop out ?

Communists does not explain the demolition of public and commercial spaces / the construction of new living quarters without infrastructure. To compare, the Soviet union had built some of the most expensive and invested-in public projects so people there actually had a lot of where to go out and about
