I've now taken this tube out and replaced it with a Crompton one that is Chinese made (has halophosphor glow though) Smile

Good to keep the UK made tube and use a more modern one Cool

Totally and it was pretty lucky that the modern tube happened to be a halophosphor type so I was like 'if that tube can replicate the original UK made tube I may as well leave it in there' - if it was triphosphor I would leave it in there till I feel like I've had enough and switch it back to the original tube Cool
