TCP Cool White 23W/27W CFLs From the Archives Smaller “jumbo” CFLs, got these NOS for a dollar each at the ReStore. Both claim 100W equivalent, but one says 23W (1650 lumens) and the other stays 27W (1850 lumens). The ReStore had boxloads of 10 packs, I assume they came from a hotel or a resort. Cool finds, I always liked 840 CFL's but as you say they were never very common sadly.

I've never seen a helical CFLs with a cool white color.

Ring lighting here use to make similar CFL where the tube comes directly out of the base like these, unlike the usual small bend at the cathode end like was more common Wink, I don’t ever think I’ve seen 840 CFL either?

These are just odd overall. GE did offer some 4100K and 6500K CFLs in the Helical package as well around the same time. I guess the general consensus was everyone wanted 5000K.
