yep the tubes are free to move about and the pins are touching the sides of the box

Why not just wrap a layer of cardboard round and tape the ends if you're gonna faf about posting tubes improperly? Any slight pressure on one side and they're fucked!

Everyone's a winner. Yes, 21" tubes wedged across a ~18" box. If there'd been any impact on the corners they were wedged against, they'd have likely been smashed. Luckily all are in tact, tested and working well with lots of swirly whirly-ness on their first start!

That packing is absolutely ridiculous as the pins are touching the sides of the box which could break them
