5ft 80w Quickstart Fitting lit for the first time in many years! I got three of these on a recent haul. Unsure what they are, they have large black 80w quickstart ballasts. They're galvanised, hence the paint's peeled off! This one had a battered old 'Thorn' tube in that is dead. Stuck this Osram in and it fired up after a few seconds! Note this tube is mercury starved and just one I used for testing purposes, hence it looks a bit dim.

Thanks Danny. I'm very happy I saved these, they were in imminent danger of being scrapped. All three are being given a good long run right now

Anything quickstart is awesome. I wish id saved the 5' QS atlantics from ever ready i really regret not getting those or atleast one like
