Connections just a wee bit loose

Found this today whilst doing some electrical work at home. This is the connections in the back of a 45a cooker isolator switch, as you can see both grub screws are not even fitted & were sat in the bottom of the back box! I've found three light switches that were like this too, cables just poked in, somehow still making contact! It looks like it's been done on purpose, no idea why. None of them had any evidence of being hot amazingly.

Them ones are the best where the grub screw heads have snapped off!

I have seen them snapped off before. In this case though they hadn't been fitted at all!

That’s odd why? I can’t say I have ever come across that

I think it's been done on purpose. I found three light switches around the house exactly the same
