Fluorescent platform lighting at Amsterdam station Amsterdam Centraal, the main station in Amsterdam, still has these fluorescent street lanterns lighting all the station platforms, which is very nice to see. Everything being bathed in the subdued glow of fluorescent tubes reminded me of my holidays in Germany a few years ago when most villages were still lit by fluorescent lanterns.
