That's a good save with the 'H' lampholders, they have become surprisingly difficult to come by.

I have several (complete ones) in 4ft, made in 1991..1994. Few like this and few with the smaller keyhole knockout. Maybe you can find a support beam (folded from thin sheet metal into a square C shape) for drywall panel walls that would match and make the lantern body out of it
