Bollocks to the ban. So the supposed conservative government we voted for have gone all Communist on us and banned fluorescents. I will be relamping well in to the future. However ballasts seem to be letting me down.

I am with you there Kev, my whole flat is lit fluorescent from 8w to 40w. A recent housing association survey by some 16 year old helmet, tried telling me fluorescent was bad, & I should change to LED... needless to say, he got escorted out of my flat!

Ha ha nice one you should of stood your ground to him and made the argument I do all the time even if it lands me in trouble. I had a complaint put in about me at work week before last Very Happy

They put some POS LED bulkhead in my bathroom, gets random switching, from less than a minute, to 5 or 6 when I have a shower, lasted 8 months then became a disco show of blinking mayhem... shite.... even chinesium fluorescents & 2D's cope better than that
