Bet this is extremely fragile I'd be scared to hold it. Is there a full length glass filament support

This is indeed a long filament lamp! Wonder what the efficiency is on this 10Lm/W? Cool to see one of these wonder how old it is? Are these still made?

Well it surved being sent via UPS so can't be too fragile. There's a steel support running the whole length, kept it place by U shaped springs every few inches, and the filament supports are attached to that with glass beads.

This one's only a few years old, but unfortunately they're not made anymore. Understandable really at 7Lm/W!

Cool. Even though its an incandescent, it sure looks like fluorescent being so long
