50w White SON: Philips SDW vs Iwasaki SDX
I decided to fire up and compare both a Philips 50w SDW-T and an Iwasaki EYE 50w SDX lamp.

It's interesting to compare these two "White SON" lamps as they have quite different electrical characteristics and are quite physically different also.
From the naked eye and this exposure, the colour and luminous flux is pretty much the same.
Both of these lamps give off a fantastic warm white colour with superb colour rendering that is better than a lot of fluorescent!

The other image shows the difference in colour a bit better.
