I’ve been naughty again... A while ago I nicked the choke out of this Fitzgerald MLP to convert a floor lamp to twin 9w PL-S and this gutted shell was just sitting there doing nothing... I had a spare HF ballast so though, fuck it, why not eh? :)

I don't see a problem with this at all. It's not like you're going to bin it when the HF ballast fails, and it didn't work before so.... yeah, nice!
