On the topic of those stupid panels the idiots at college are replacing 4x2' 4x36W fluorescent mods with 2x2' 32W led panels Shocked

Yeah but moreso the reduction in light output, their putting in an extra ceiling tile Surprised It's like 4' replaces an 8' scenario

Replacement has now begun. Half has been replaced at the moment. I should be getting them all this week or next week.

Electrician may only be doing what he was told to do. Someone else probably made the decision to 'downgrade' Laughing to LED
If it were here and for some reason I was put in place to upgrade the lighting I'd go with 8-foot T8...atleast that would keep the character of the old setup still in place Smile

I have yet so see LEDs installed anywhere here, other than one building with LED retro-fit tubes.
(now for streetlights, those have really started showing up in the past 2 years

I don't think think the shipping would be that much jay funbulblight sent an 8' to spunky! I remember Dave saying elsewhere (maybe Facebook) that the electrician wanted to put LED in! Rolling Eyes probably brainwashed by wholesalers

I think I managed 6 of them in the end, and the two tamshites I’m gonna strip down for the gear for the quad star
