Phosco P152
Following on from the P152's tedious rebuild and restoration, all that was left was to get it lit, having never lit the lantern in the 5 years of having it. A salvaged swan neck sleeve bracket was the order of the day here, with a Osram BSX3555 ballast brought in to get the lamp lit. To see it strike and run up has made all this hard work worth it, its now ready for another 50 years service which sadly it'll never see.

there were making this lanter well into the 1970's which amazed me, it was a well oldschool design by then, but they installed them new in our town till about 1974
